The tone of the poem is.

It makes me feel happy because it has made me feel like I always have a friend unless I'm in the dark.

I found Personififcation which means your giving a non-human thing a human characteristic. The sentence is Has stayed at home behind me and was fast asleep in bed, I also found a simile with means you're comparing yourself to something the sentence is but my lazy shadow line an arrant sleepy-Head.

Today for literacy we had a google summit it was so FUN we had to join different google meets about different learning tools and how we can use them for learning. The ones I did are Scratch maths, Pixton Comics, Scarcht Jr, Prezi, 

My First lesson was Scratch maths and that was about. Coding and it was fun to do I loved playing around with it.

My Second lesson was Pixton Comics it was so fun we got to design our own charter and there was a class photo and you got to pick a poes for it and you got to pick an outfit for your charter.

My Third one was Scratch Jr, I couldn't really do it cause I couldn't hear what they were saying and it froze.

My Fourth one was. How to use Prezi I was a bit late to the google meet so I didn't know what to do.

The connections I made with the title is, Being alone with no one by your side to listen to or to talk to.

This poem is organized in 4 stanzas each stanza has 6 lines and the rhyming pattern is organized in ABABCC ABABCC ABABCC ABABCC.

The tone of the poem is lonely but happy because he was alone at the start and then in the end he wasn't lonely so it made me happy.

List and explain poetic devices I found Personification and simile.

Personification:  Fluttering and dancing in the breeze, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance, The waves behind them danced, And dances with the daffodils.

Those are personification because he's talking about flowers and waves. Flowers cant toss their heads and when it says, and dances with the daffodils he's talking about his heart and hearts cant dance with flowers.

Simile: I wandered lonely as a cloud.

This is a simile because he is comparing himself to a lonely cloud and simile means that you compare things to others.

What is the meaning of this poem? The meaning of this poem is that so lonely people don't feel alone and that they just have to imagine.

Art: I thought our Tapa Art unit was interesting because I've never done it before and we got to play with dye and do designs it was so fun to do

If I rate myself out of 10 for how well I participated in our art unit, 10

In our Tapa Art unit, I learned:

1) How they made tapas

2) How they made the dye

3)How they bit the tree with their teeth

Inquiry: I thought our Social Science unit about inventions throughout time was interesting because we could see what it looked like in the olden days.

If I rate myself out of 10 for how well I participated in our Inquiry unit, I would give myself a 10

In our innovations unit, I learned:

1) The rich kids could only go to school

2) They didn't have proper toilets

3) That olden day things look different

Learning From our Mistakes.

This week for our value we have been learning from our mistakes. We have been learning about getting out of the pit. This shows what makes us go in the pit and what helps us go out of the pit. This is my work:

 

My next step is to learn from my mistakes and to know that making mistakes is ok everyone makes mistakes so if you get sad learn from them and see what you can change about it and think positively to get out of the dip.

Today we learned how to create a MindMup so we could identify and remember the things we need to do when writing so we are showing courtesy to our audience.  For many of us, creating a MindMup was a new experience.  This is the one we co-created.

Hey, guys so today's blog post is about my mindmup it's for values and it was fun to create. It was about keeping the environment clean and tidy I didn't really know what to put but here's mine.

BREAKING RULES

Rules are put in place to keep people safe. When people choose to break them they are disrespecting the person who makes them even being selfish. You stand out by breaking rules negatively with your business or at school or at home. You can put yourself in danger not only that but other people if you need help then those people are putting themselves in danger too because you want to be a rule breaker.

Sometimes rules are not put in place to benefit everyone. Sometimes specific rules can disadvantage others. Such as bedtimes in our house some people have different bedtimes rules.

New family members

On Sunday we went out to go get new kittens and it was a surprise so I didn't know we got two. Their personality are so cute they go crazy when they play with a toy's like really crazy. Their names are lux and ink lux got her name because she hovers all the food and ink got her name because of all of her patterns on her body. Bye blog ya later😃

For online school, we have to do values and it's about being on time to the right place and if you're always on time you will get more respect, and people will trust you so here's my work for values.

My cousin and I are calling a lot more we do our online school together we play games together. I fell like we have more of a connection now. He lives in Balclutha which is a four-hour drive there which is a long drive and I'm just happy we can have more of a connection. Its fun just talking to him and playing games with him. It was fun seeing everybody it was nice to see Miss Waho and to know what everyone has been doing some people have been baking watering plants. Reading books it was nice to talk to my friends and were going to do it tomorrow cant wait.
